Station Visits

 
Our station is not open to the public at the present time owing to the very poor state of the main Pier structure and Island. Hopefully this situation will be addressed in the not too distant future and the hope is that we shall be able to welcome the general public back to Birnbeck Pier once again.

 

 

July 2009 saw the last public visit to the Boathouse on Birnbeck Island. Kewstoke Rainbows attended and were shown around the station and boats by Helmsmen Mike Buckland, Jake Scott and Mark Frost. Many of the girls said their favourite part was having their leader dress up as a Crew Member, and spraying her with a hose!
