SOS Day

SOS Day - Saturday 28th January 2012

9:45am- 4pm

held at Sainsburys during January, the RNLI SOS day is raising money for new lifejackets.

the Event will be opened by John Penrose Minister of Tourism and MP for Weston at 0945

the competition will be:

a:for the individual who rows furthest in 5 minutes

           male, Female and Youth prizes.

b:for the team which rows the furthest in 5 minutes using the rapid change over method. (Frantic Row)

           male, Female and Youth prizes.

thus people can enter as individuals or as teams or both

the rowing machines will be linked to a computer which shows distance and times

everyone  is encouraged to come and have a go.

last year we used a target of the total distance between Weston and Minehead.
